Gah! I'm tired..
I woke up at 11am, ate lunch, took a bath, left home. We went to Auckland city to go to this thing, it's called Kelly Tartlon's Antartic Encounter and Underwater World.
When we got inside, it suddenly smelled like the ocean. Haha! On the way inside, there were posters of freaky fishes and I hated it 'cause it was really freaky. Haha! Then a guy gave up a map so that we know which place to go (which is actually the use of maps). And then we had our family picture photo by this girl. There was a small glass there where you can see the penguins inside a small place with snow and water. It was like a small Antartica. That was my first time to see a real penguin. They're so cute. They're not that big though unlike the one I see in the TV. After that, we went to a place, it's like a big old ship and it's where 28 men lived ages ago for like weeks/months. I think its when they went to Antartica and it was veeeeery cold. The old ship was freaky though. Haha!
Anyway, we got to this place where there are fishes and stingrays. When I saw a stingray, the first thought that came into my mind was "You killed croc hunter. Tss." Haha. So there was also this thing where you can test how strong an octupus' tentacles can suck. Like you will press a button and try to pull the "tentacles". When I tried it, I can't even pull it, like it sucked the wall so hard. Haha! I never thought they're that strong.
Next to that sucking thing (haha) there was a big aquarium called "freaky fish". Inside it is a HUGE octopus. REALLY HUUUGE. Yea. It wasn't alive though but it's real, I think it is preserved or something.
After that we rode a thing. It's like a small bus. And guess whaaat, we went inside the mini-Antartica! Hahaha! Cool, eh? Yea, I saw the penguins swimming and doing some stuff. Gosh, they're cute. We also saw penguin chicks. They're hella big just like the others but different color and their eyes are closed.
Then we went to a circular tank. Uhm it's like a hall way and instead of walls, there are aquariums and you can see the fishes swimming. Hehe sorry, can't explain. Nyway, there were fishes, sting rays and sharks. Not the big ones, just small and not that scary. Dang! Hahaha!
After that, there's a place with different aquariums with different kinds of sea creatures. It was good. Haha!
Then after that is a souvenir shop. I was dissapointed.
It's because I didn't saw sharks. Like the tiger shark, hammerhead, etc. I want to see those big and scary ones. Dang! Oh well. Maybe because it's not safe to have sharks there. TSS.
Anyway, so yea. We left the place and went to a nearby play ground but we didn't stay that long 'cause there were so many kids so we just went back to Henderson, and went to the playground near the circus thing. Our parents left us there and bought foods. We stayed in the playground for like, 30 mins.-1 hour. Hahaha! Nag-swing lang ako. Then AT LAST, mom and dad arrived with Hell pizza and Mcdo. GRABE. Dami ko nakain. Hahaha! I was tired kasi.
I think I'll be sleeping early tonight because my head is aching and I'm really tired.
