our class encounter was really fun. it really helped our class to be more united. i learned so many things. the class encounter was really a great experience. many of us thought that we were all comfortable with our section already. but actually, no. there people who really can't let go of their past section. haaaiii. i think grade six was really a VERY fun year. oh well, we just need to accept that we're in grade seven already and we're in a different group. hai. but i really can't believe that we're all seperated already. after all the laughters and tears that we have shared, that's just it. huhuhu. anyway, enough with the drama! hahaha! that's why there's class encounter nga eh. jae naman oh! aiiii.
anyway, there were 6 activities. "the scavenger hunt", "class buzz", "who are you in the zoo?", "broken squares", "lecture on what is a team" and "i belong". the activities that i like the best were the "scavenger hunt", "broken squares" and the "i belong." scavenger hunt: you need to complete the scavenger list by finding someone who has the same traits/likes as yours and you need to let them sign. examples of the questions are, "my greatest fear is also her greatest fear. we both fear_________.", "her favorite color is also my favorite color. our favorite color is____." the first eight to complete the scavenger list will get a prize.
broken squares: you need to make a perfect square from the pieces of paper. sometimes, the piece of your square is with another group mate. but it's not allowed to talk, to give signals and to ask for pieces of paper. so one should be alert and give some of the pieces to another girl. the activity showed that we need to be sensitive to the needs of others. since we are not allowed to talk, it was very silent. and it was amazing to hear the crickets in the garden.
i belong: you should shake hands or hug or kiss the girl that you will pick from the nametags. the one who picked me was sheen. we did a handshake. and i picked kathlyn. we hugged each other. it was really fun because some of the persons who hugged were the people who were not that comfortable with one another.
the activity that i liked least was the "lecture on what is a team". because it was all discussion so
it was a little bit boring.
